I was born and spent my childhood in the North of Russia. In the school years, I was fond of mathematics and physics, and even managed to win prizes in major contests. At the same time, I started to learn how to sew clothes, and this hobby became my life-long passion.
In 2002, I entered the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (also known as "phystech" or "Russian MIT") without exams, thanks to my prize at All-Russian Olympiad in Physics. In 2008, I graduated with honors, but did not stop at that point, and in 2011 I received my PhD, specialized in computational math.
In 2005, I began to teach math for a class of 18 gifted students. Since then, I have been constantly performing as a teacher / tutor / mentor. My "teacher's suitcase" includes more than 10 years of teaching experience focused on applied statistics, data analysis, physics and mathematics. I have been working with children and adults, in groups and individually, in person or via Skype.
In 2007, I stepped into a new career in the field of data analysis. I worked on real business challenges in a variety of fields - from telecommunications to e-commerce, working deeply with data mining modelling and data-driven marketing. I created and conducted professional courses in this area as well.
In 2014, I quit my job in big business and moved to Austria. Currently, I spend most of my time working on my small educational and artistic projects. I regularly offer workshops about using of maths and scientific approach in everyday life. Beyond that, I am focused on learning foreign languages and working on a course about the techniques of effective self-education.
